Mr Mark Alexander, the President of SA Rugby, and Springbok Women’s assistant coach Laurian Johannes-Haupt paid his condolences to the family of former Springbok Women’s midfielder Daphne Scheepers, who passed away on Saturday.

Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard, who was named the man of the match on Saturday following the team’s 30-22 victory against the Wallabies in Cape Town, which saw them retain the Nelson Mandela Challenge Plate, gave the credit to the entire team for fighting their way back from last week’s heart-breaking defeat.
