SANZAR has appointed the referees to the crucial last round of Super 14 matches. The referees in charge of the crucial matches are Bryce Lawrence and Chris Pollock of New Zealand and Jonathan Kaplan of South Africa.

Two of the referees who had been "stood down" in earlier rounds are back. Pro Legoete of South Africa and Paul Marks of Australia were not given refereeing appointments for some time though they have been appointed assistant referees.
