SA referees have announced the match officials for the Varsity Cup semifinals, which are both in the Cape after the Maties and the Ikeys finished first and second.

The referees appointed are Ben Crouse, a schoolmaster from Waterkloof in Pretoria, and Dilbert November, a traffic officer from, Mossel Bay.

The appointment of the referees is done on merit from the referees who refereed in the Varsity Cup. Recently November refereed the excellent match at Danie Craven Stadium between the Maties and the Ikeys.

The matches are on Monday, 22 March, the UCT v Shimlas match at 16.15, the Stellenbosch v Pukke fixture at 18.30.
