Clancy in for Lawrence

Bryce Lawrence, appointed to do the Tri-Nations match between Australia and South Africa in Brisbane on 24 July, is injured and has had to be replaced.

George Clancy of Ireland has been appointed to referee the match in Lawrence's place.

Lawrence, who turns 40 in December, is an experienced referee who first refereed Tri-Nations matches in 2008. For Clancy this will be his first Tri-Nations match.

Clancy is 33 years of age and from Bruff, near Limerick in Munster.

He refereed his first Test in 2006 - the USA vs Uruguay - and just last month refereed the match between New Zealand and Wales at Carisbrook.

In 2008 Clancy refereed the match between South Africa and Italy at Newlands.
