Coach suspended in France

Thierry Mentières, the coach of Bayonne in France's Top 14, has been suspended for 20 days.

On 30 December Bayonne played Racing-Mètro at home and lost 23-19. The referees who help to control the movements of players to and from the field, called No. 4 and No.5, reported Mentières for "disputing the decisions of  the match officials.

The Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) have heard the case and decided that Mentières was guilty and suspended him for 20 days and can resume his rugby activities on 16 February.

There are no matches involving Bayonne in this time. His suspension will be over by the time Bayonne travel to Montpellier to play.
