Clip 1 - 3 March

Dropping me softly.

Talking is fine but so is listening. If the talkers had listened here, they would not have go this wrong.

The Highlanders play the Cheetahs. Jimmy Cowan passes to Michael Hobbs and Hobbs passes to Jason Shoemark who cuts inside Tewis de Bruyn but is tackled. Quickly the Highlanders get the ball to Kenny Lynn who is grabbed by Naas Olivier and David de Villiers who lift him off the ground and then carefully lower him to ground.

The referee penalises the Cheetahs for a dangerous tackle and there is a replay of the tackle on Lynn. The commentators clearly do not agree with the referee. But they got it all wrong.

The referee did not penalise the tackle on Lynn.

Go back to Shoemark's dart. As he goes past De Bruyn, De Bruyn reaches out and grabs Shoemark at the neck. De Bruyn swings off and Shoemark get to run on briefly.

That was the dangerous tackle which the referee penalised.
